7 reasons libraries are awesome! Yes only 7 we know there are milllions! The breadth of interesting programmes and work they do never ceases to amaze our team here at Solus ! We love what we do in the digital world because we are fortunate to have a global view and understanding of the amazing work libraries are doing across the world not only in digital but also in social and physical spaces!
Here we have chosen just a few crackers from our twitter account to show the depth and breadth of work our wonderful libraries are delivering for communities! This week our team loved that libraries are sharing their new environmentally friendly ideas across the globe! It may surprise many that fabulous live music and culture is thriving in UK libraries, and just in case you need to know a bit more we also enjoyed Bibliotherapy explained.
WOW! The ongoing publishers battle over ebooks is hotting up! Just how fantastic is this story of the little 8 year old with book that now has a huge waiting list! We really think our fab libraries need to make more of the fact that they are inspiring the next generation of tech gurus. Again it was so hard to choose but we loved the US homage to library staff and so we meet America’s favourite librarians.
