BUILDING, RENOVATING AND DESIGNING EXCELLENCE THROUGH COVID

Wow- Just take a look at what Matt Pascoe and his fab and very busy team have done in Ipswich Libraries. Between mid-2018 and mid-2021, they we will have refurbished 2 libraries and launched another 4 new facilities.

They somehow also found time to rebuild all our major digital properties, kick-off the very successful Marketplace collection project and launch something of an Australian-first in the fully self-service Library Pod in Karalee.

The most recent completed project was the Rosewood Library, which officially opened (to COVID-dampened fanfare) on 25 July 2020. The launch was attended by the local, state and federal representatives, as well as the State Librarian & Chief Executive Officer, Vicki McDonald FAALIA.
