The new Ipswich Central Library which launched only two months ago has already seen thousands of visitors and has loaned tens of thousands of items. https://www.ipswichlibraries.com.au/
The Market Place move followed the launch of a new purpose-built tech zone at Ipswich Central Library earlier this year.
Also designed with a focus on STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts and maths – the area includes a virtual reality room, augmented reality sandbox, collaborative jigsaw and children’s gadget bar. For more information on the STEAM Power Makerspace – just watch this!

The new Ipswich Central Library, in the Nicholas Street Precinct, is Now Open. and the Library provides a wide range of resources, an extensive collection along with advanced digital services and experiences including:

New Children’s Library
Australia’s first public Children’s Library is now open in the Nicholas Street Precinct mid-2021. It boasts a beautiful, purpose-designed and built space for children aged 0 – 12 years to explore, learn and play.
The Library offers:
